The event is an outdoor movie that is chosen each year by the Fircrest Parks and Recreation Department. Dixie was made aware that the city needed some assistance in seeing that the movie continued to be an annual event. This is where Team Insurance stepped in and volunteered to help out so the tradition would be able to continue.

Team Insurance volunteers handed out the famous "glow sticks" that are so popular with the children just before the movie began at dusk. A treat bag that included the Team mascot "Sunshine" the duck was also handed out bringing smiles to the children and adults attending.

It continues to be one of the treasured special family events in Fircrest every year. Team Insurance, Inc. is happy to volunteer for this wonderful opportunity that will be remembered for many years to come.

Dixie has always had a passion for education and this event has it all. Vendors are invited to educate the community on services and products that are available to them for their safety and protection.

This has been an event where many cities can participate each year in a competition against other cities' their size. The City of Fircrest has placed in the top of the class on a national level

The night ends with one of the most fantastic fireworks display ever. The entire city comes alive with sounds and lights that are awesome.

This amazing evening is really made possible by the fantastic work of the police department of the City of Fircrest. They continue to work towards making the City of Fircrest one of the safest and most livable places to want to call home in Pierce County.
